Job Summary

Lake Palace Thiruvananthapuram is looking for a responsible, hardworking, and service-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our housekeeping team.

The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the hotel.

Experienced candidates are preferred, and freshers with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for hospitality are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas, and other assigned areas.
Ensure guest rooms are cleaned and prepared according to hotel standards.
Make beds, change bed linen, towels, and other room amenities as required.
Replenish guest room supplies and amenities.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of assigned areas at all times.
Follow proper cleaning procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor.
Handle guest belongings and hotel property responsibly.
Assist with laundry, linen handling, and other housekeeping duties when required.
Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and storage areas.
Follow hotel standards for hygiene, safety, and guest service.
Respond politely and professionally to guest requests.
Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other hotel departments when required.
Follow daily work schedules and complete assigned tasks within the required time.
Assist during high-occupancy periods, events, and special requirements.
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping will be an advantage.
Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
Good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties.
Good attention to detail.
Hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic communication skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
